My 2019 Holiday Card, "Our Star in the East", is dedicated to the children of Covenant House Alaska, and those who guide them.
The stars have always been a source of wonderment for us. For centuries they have guided us over stormy seas, and awed us with their sparkling light. There are those who believe they grant wishes or predict their futures. Perhaps they’re a glimpse and a promise of heaven. Our Anchorage Star on the Mountain here in Anchorage lights up the darkness of our long winters. For me, it’s that one bright star in the East at this time of year that reminds me of the promise given us so many years ago. It gives me hope for a bright new tomorrow.
Twenty-five percent of the sale of this card has been donated to Covenant House, Alaska
