The 2018 holiday design is a celebration of some of Alaska's beloved animals.
My holiday card this year is dedicated to those who shepherd and care for our Alaska wildlife and lost pets. Biologists, veterinarians, countless workers, and volunteers at shelters make it possible for injured or orphaned animals to live out their lives in safe, caring environments. These creatures are nursed back to health, and returned to the wilderness whenever possible. Those that would not survive if released are given humane lodging and the best of care. They become ambassadors of their species, educating children and adults alike about their unique roles in life on this planet. Lost and abandoned pets find new forever homes thanks to the hard work of our local shelters. God’s creatures enrich my life by just being there, and I am grateful to those who ensure that they will be there for my grandchildren as well.
25% of the sale of this card has been donated to the Alaska Zoo, and the Friends of Anchorage Animal Care and Control, a nonprofit that provides funds to care for animals who come to the shelter in need of medical care. Limited quantities
